Pursuant to Art. 7 of Italian Legislative Decree no. 196/2003, the data subject has the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or non-existence of personal data concerning him/her, even if not yet recorded, and its communication in intelligible form.
In particular, the data subject has the right to be informed of
a) the origin of the personal data;
b) the purposes and methods of the processing;
c) the logic applied in the event of processing carried out using electronic instruments;
d) the identification details of the data controller;
e) the recipients or categories of subjects to whom the personal data may be communicated or who may become aware of such data in their capacity as designated representative in the national territory, data processors or persons in charge of processing.
The data subject has also the right to obtain:
a) the updating, rectification or, when he/she is interested, the integration of the data;
b) the cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data processed unlawfully, including data whose retention is unnecessary for the purposes for which the data was collected or subsequently processed
c) the certification to the effect that the operations as per letters a) and b) have been notified, as also related to their contents, to the entities to whom or which the data was communicated or disseminated, unless this requirement proves impossible or involves a manifestly disproportionate effort compared with the right that is to be protected.
Finally, the data subject has the right to object, in whole or in part:

Rights relating to personal data concerning deceased persons may be exercised by anyone interested in it. In exercising the rights under Art. 7 of Italian Legislative Decree no. 196/2003, the data subject may grant, in writing, power of attorney or proxy to natural persons or associations.
